Canadian Nurses Association Position Statement on Spirituality, Health and Nursing Practice

June 2010, CNA issued their position statement on Spirituality, Health and Nursing Practice. The initiative behind this statement was the resolution put forward by PNIG at RNAO's AGM in April 2004, that "spiritual well-being be included in the WHO definition of Health". Dr. June Webber, Director, Department of International Policy and Development, CNA brought this issue to the attention of the International Council of Nurses (ICN).

Parish Nurse, Gloria Wiebe, was profiled in a short segment on the CBC radio program "White Coat Black Art". The program looks at the culture of medicine and is hosted by Dr. Brian Goldman, an emergency room doctor in Toronto.
